Waitlist

Thank you for your interest in registering your child to our program!  We would love to have a slot for every family we interview. However, we run a very small and personalized operation with only a few slots available per year.  Follow the steps delineated below to be considered:

 

1. Please make an appointment to tour our facility.

2. After your visit, please send us an email to vir@virginiashomedaycare.com with the subject “Waitlist - (Your family’s name) and (date you are looking to be admitted).

 

Additionally, please include in the body of the email:

• Both parents’ full names, contact phone numbers and emails.

• Your child’s name and date of birth.

 

When will you hear from us?

 

Our first attempt to contact you when a spot is available for your child/children will be via email so please make sure you share an email address you check regularly.  We will make a second attempt to your cell phone and wait for your response for 72 hours before we move on to the next family.

 

How can I move up on the waitlist?

 

1. Tour and sign up to the waitlist as soon as possible.

2. Children 15 months and older move more quickly up the waitlist because infants spots are more limited per state regulations.

3. Native Spanish speakers have priority.  This is a full Spanish immersion program and children learn from their peers.

4. If you already have a child in the program we will do our best to offer a spot for a sibling regardless of age and language spoken at home.
