Virginia's Home Daycare follows Muffie

Muffie Waterman is a mother of two teens who holds her PhD in Learning Sciences from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education. She taught courses in child and cognitive development for 8 years at San Jose State University, to almost 1,400 undergraduate students. She has been involved in innovative education for 20+ years, working in classrooms for infant, preschool, elementary, and middle school-age students. She has taught workshops for preservice and inservice teachers. Most recently, she was Executive Director of 10 Books a Home, a nonprofit home tutoring program for high poverty families in East Palo Alto.
